Cute as a Plush Toy
The Joobles Collection
This just in: Babies all over the US are being mistaken for plush toys and squeezed – often to the point of annoyance.
The culprit behind this squeeze epidemic is known as the Joobles Hooded Cardigan. Believed to have originated in the cotton cooperatives of Peru, the cardigan was imported to the United States innocently enough by Fair Indigo as part of its Joobles collection.
Hand-knit with organic cotton in a Peruvian fair-trade workshop, Fair Indigo’s Joobles collection is one of the reasons that 800 artisans from depressed areas of Peru now have much-needed jobs.
Which is great…except who knew that babies dressed as adorable plush toys would turn normally sensible adults into squeeze-obsessed maniacs? With the cardigans clearly here for the long-haul, parents are being cautioned to abstain from excessive squeezing.
